Key Role and Responsibilities
Working under the Programme Lead on Finance and Economy, the consultant will take the lead in designing and structuring a comprehensive Finance Strategy Course. This involves planning the overall course framework, setting learning objectives, and ensuring alignment with global development and financial management standards.
The consultant will also conduct in-depth research on current trends in corporate finance, strategic financial management, and financial decision-making, ensuring that the course remains both relevant and forward-looking.
Among the duties include:

Creating a logical and engaging course structure integrating theory with real-world application.

Drafting detailed chapter content on core finance concepts, risk management, investment strategy, and strategic budgeting.

Developing interactive activities such as case studies, simulations, and financial modeling exercises to deepen learner engagement.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Urban Planning, Development Studies, Economics, Public Finance, Public Policy, or Political Science. A minimum of two years of experience in local economic development, public finance, or urban planning is required.
