The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is inviting applications from qualified professionals for the position of Supervisor – Cloud Architecture and Technology Platforms. This critical role supports the Authority’s ICT infrastructure by ensuring the stability, efficiency, and security of its virtualization and cloud systems.
As a Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving KRA’s virtualized environments, storage infrastructure, and backup platforms — all essential components that keep business operations running seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities

Configure and manage virtualized and containerized computing environments.

Implement upgrades and security improvements for compute, storage, and backup systems.

Monitor systems for errors or performance issues and respond promptly to incidents.

Support vendor and OEM collaborations to optimize technology performance.

Execute audit recommendations related to infrastructure improvement.

Prepare detailed specifications for procurement of new cloud or storage platforms.

Provide provisioning, configuration, and restoration of virtualization and backup resources.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Certification in Virtualization, Cloud, or System Administration technologies such as VMware, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or Kubernetes.

At least 3 years of relevant ICT infrastructure experience.

Proficiency in Linux/Windows system administration, server virtualization, storage management, and container orchestration.
