Based in Nairobi, this is a full-time, onsite leadership role offering a competitive salary range of KSh 150,000 – KSh 200,000 per month.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Principal Officer/General Manager will oversee all operations within the brokerage firm — from regulatory compliance and business development to performance management and financial stewardship.
The successful candidate will ensure that every department works harmoniously toward achieving the company’s mission, vision, and core values. They will also play a pivotal role in nurturing a motivated workforce and maintaining productive relationships with the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA).
Key Responsibilities

Spearhead new business acquisition and marketing strategies to meet company growth targets.

Supervise departmental heads and evaluate overall performance.

Ensure safe custody of company assets, including cash flow, equipment, and inventory.

Develop and implement firm-wide reports that align with strategic goals.

What You’ll Bring

A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Marketing, or Business Administration from a recognized university.

ACII/AIIK certification is mandatory.

A minimum of 8 years of experience in the insurance sector, with at least 5 years in senior management.

Comprehensive knowledge of insurance products, laws, and brokerage practices.

Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
