Are you an experienced driver looking for a government opportunity? The Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA) is currently hiring 5 drivers to join its team in Nairobi. This is a great chance to work with a respected state agency that plays a vital role in regulating and managing Kenya’s maritime industry.
About the Role
The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe transportation of staff, as well as maintaining the vehicles assigned to them in top condition.
Key responsibilities include:

Keeping the assigned vehicle clean and roadworthy.

Submitting regular vehicle reports and work tickets.
-
Reporting mechanical issues or accidents promptly.
-
Ensuring safe driving practices at all times.
-
Supporting day-to-day mobility needs of the Authority.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, applicants must have:
-
At least a KCSE mean grade of D+ (plus) or its equivalent.

A valid driving license and a Certificate of Good Conduct.

At least 3 years of driving experience.
-
A Defensive Driving Course certificate.
-
An Occupational Trade Test II Certificate.
-
A First Aid Certificate (minimum one-week course) from St. John’s Ambulance or another recognized institution.
