Front Office Receptionist

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently.
Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and in person.
Handle bookings, confirmations, and updates using the resort’s reservation system.
Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized reception area.
Provide resort information, upsell experiences, and promote in-house amenities.
Manage petty cash, basic accounting, and POS transactions as needed.
Support administrative tasks related to daily operations and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in hospitality, customer service, or a front desk role (resort/hotel experience preferred).
Excellent communication in English and Swahili (written and spoken).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with booking systems or PMS software.
Friendly, polished demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
A team player who takes initiative and pays attention to detail.
