Project Manager

Project Planning & Initiation:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed work breakdown structures (WBS), timelines, resource allocation, and budget forecasts.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments, developing mitigation strategies.
- Secure necessary approvals and resources for project commencement.
Project Execution & Monitoring:
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams (engineers, technicians, commercial, regulatory, etc.).
- Oversee day-to-day project activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions proactively.
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Procure and manage third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring their performance aligns with project requirements.
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, providing clear and concise updates to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Manage expectations and resolve conflicts among project stakeholders.
- Prepare and present comprehensive project reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Risk & Change Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement effective change management processes to address scope changes, unforeseen challenges, and new requirements.
Quality Assurance & Closeout:
- Ensure all project deliverables meet defined quality standards and technical specifications.
- Oversee project closeout activities, including final documentation, handover to operations, and post-project reviews.
- Conduct lessons learned sessions to identify best practices and areas for improvement for future projects.
Sector-Specific Responsibilities:
- Telecommunications: Oversee projects related to fiber optic deployment, 5G network rollout, network upgrades, tower infrastructure, data center build-outs, and related regulatory compliance (e.g., spectrum licensing).
- Energy: Manage projects in renewable energy (solar, wind), smart grid implementation, energy storage solutions, power distribution infrastructure, and energy efficiency initiatives, including understanding relevant energy regulations.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Telecommunications, Civil), Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A master’s degree or a relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 2 years specifically managing projects in the telecommunications and/or energy sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time and within budget.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
- Prince2, Agile (Scrum Master, SAFe), or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies (e.g., FTTx, 5G, IP networks, BSS/OSS).
- Good understanding of energy systems (e.g., renewable energy generation, grid infrastructure, energy storage, smart meters).
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, Primavera P6).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Soft Skills:

- Handling materials from the Customer warehouses, Crystalmark stores, and sites with the assistance of the drivers.
Ensuring all free-issued materials are taken from the warehouse to the sites as required
Record keeping all the company vehicles’ maintenance schedules and ensuring that they comply according to the customer’s standards. - When not engaged in logistics, he will be a team member working on-site.
