Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: – Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or its equivalent qualification from a recognized and accredited institution;
• Certified Public Accountant Part I or equivalent qualification from an accredited examination body;
• Registered with the relevant professional body; and
• Proficiency in computer applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

• This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the supervision and guidance of a designated officer. An officer may be deployed to the Finance or Accounts Departments.

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: –

• Preparing and reviewing periodic expenditure returns; Maintaining the general ledger;
• Assisting in tax accounting and remitting statutory deductions;
• Keeping safe custody of payments and journal vouchers;
• Processing payments and other disbursements;
• Issuing demand notes and following delinquent accounts;
• Maintaining asset registers;
• Preparing payment vouchers;
• Preparing bank reconciliation statements;
• Reconciling students’ accounts;
• Preparing customer invoices for the services rendered; and
• Undertaking regular bankin

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

•  Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D+ (Plus) with at least two (2) science subjects or their equivalent passes in either English or Kiswahili; and
• A Basic Certificate Level in Coaching or officiating in at least one sports discipline from a recognized institution.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities will entail:-

• Coaching of students under the supervision of a senior officer;
• Treating swimming pool water;
• Maintaining the playground to the required standards;
• Monitoring the athletics track or cleaning/polishing the gymnasium arena;
• Keeping safe custody of the tools and chemicals; and
• Carrying the equipment to the sports ground.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to  this grade, a candidate must have:

• Trade Test Grade III Certificate or its equivalent from an accredited examining body, and Proficiency in computer applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the supervision and guidance of a designated officer. Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: –

• Carrying out gardening, carpentry, environmental, and building works;
• Perform basic repair and maintenance of facilities;
• Cleaning and maintenance of machines, tools, and equipment;
• Carrying out routine checks for repairs and maintenance of works and equipment;
• Making requisitions for materials and spares;
• Installing and operating equipment;
• Testing equipment for proper operation

For appointment to  this grade, a candidate must have:

• Trade Test Grade III Certificate or its equivalent from an accredited examining body, and Proficiency in computer applications.
