LG Electronics Africa is inviting applications for the role of Demand Planner based in Nairobi. This full-time position is ideal for professionals passionate about supply chain, forecasting, and demand planning within a global electronics company.
As a Demand Planner, you’ll ensure the continuous availability of products across LG Electronics’ business units while maintaining optimal inventory levels. You’ll analyze market trends, forecast product demand, and collaborate with procurement and sales teams to meet business objectives.
What You’ll Do

Demand Management: Analyze sell-in and sell-out trends to forecast future demand. Adjust inventory levels to maintain safety stock and achieve targets.

Supply Management: Convert forecasts into purchase orders for product procurement. Troubleshoot supply disruptions and adjust plans as needed.

Sales & Operations: Review sales forecasts and inventory KPIs, preparing weekly and monthly status updates for business alignment.

Systems Management: Operate ERP systems like SAP, Oracle JD Edwards, and Manugistics to manage planning processes. Configure system parameters to meet planning requirements.

Other Duties: Assist management with additional responsibilities and projects as required.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Industrial Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of experience in product-level forecasting or supply planning in a global sourcing environment.

Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office Suite.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high integrity and urgency.
