Job Summary:

To support the Repayments, Collections & Recoveries team in the follow-up and recovery of delinquent accounts, documentation of collection efforts, and management of non-performing loans while maintaining professionalism and compliance with internal and regulatory policies. Responsibilities:

Assist in tracking and updating arrears and non-performing loan accounts.
Make follow-up calls and send reminders to delinquent customers.
Support in preparing demand letters and forwarding files to legal or external collectors.
Maintain and update daily records of recovery efforts and customer commitments.
Liaise with clients to understand repayment challenges and recommend solutions.
Support the documentation and filing of recovery correspondences.
Assist in preparing weekly and monthly recovery reports.
Help maintain organized records of auction, legal, or negotiated settlements.
Track payments and follow through on broken promises to pay (PTPs).
Support in coordinating with auctioneers, external debt collectors, or tracing agents.
Perform any other administrative or operational support tasks assigned by the Recoveries Officer.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Banking from a recognized institution or a related field.
At least 1 year working experience in a credit recovery role in the financial industry.
Team player.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and excellent record-keeping ability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Strong follow-through and time management skills.
Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
