Students and Graduates, This is For You
Companies will tell you to apply via their website/other platform.
Do this, but don’t only do this.
Use LinkedIn to do some research. Find the grad recruiter at the company, and reach out to them directly.
Say something like this: “Dear Tracey, I’m interested in a graduate role at *company. I’ve applied via your website and signed up on your career portal but I’m emailing you, and attaching my CV, as I really want to work for *company*, and want to be sure I’m on your radar”.
After recruiting grads for 22 years, I can tell you that the students who did this, always caught my eye. They found a way to stand out from the others.
