Company Driver at Aurum Consultants Ltd
Our client is looking for a dedicated Driver to transport/deliver clients orders effectively to their destinations. The ideal candidate will ensure that orders are delivered on time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver goods and packages to specified destinations on time.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries and pick-ups.
- Regularly inspect and maintain the company vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Schedule routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
- Complete and submit any required paperwork, such as delivery receipts and trip reports.
- Ensure all necessary licenses, permits, and documents are up to date.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Ensure the safety of passengers and goods during transportation.
- Use safety equipment and seat belts at all times.
Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
- Capability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications:
- Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for commercial vehicles).
- Have at least 2 years of proven experience as a truck driver
