🔍 Role Purpose

The Learning & Development Manager will play a central role in building a high-performing workforce through the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs. From course enrollment and training coordination to measuring impact, this role ensures that every learning initiative supports NCBA’s broader talent strategy.

Additionally, the manager will be responsible for compiling data-driven reports and insights to help leadership understand the effectiveness of learning interventions.


📌 Key Responsibilities

  • Designing end-to-end learning programs, from launch to post-training evaluation

  • Overseeing course enrollment, staff participation, and training coordination

  • Monitoring program effectiveness through data analysis and reporting

  • Ensuring learning initiatives align with NCBA’s talent development strategy

  • Leveraging Learning Management Systems (LMS) for training delivery and tracking

  • Supporting operational HR processes through structured learning interventions

  • Staying up to date with labour laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements


🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Academic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

Professional Requirements

  • CHRP certification (completed or ongoing)

Experience Needed

  • Minimum of 5 years in a Learning & Development role, preferably in a mid-sized organization

  • Strong experience using Learning Management Systems

  • Proven ability to support HR operational processes consistently

  • Familiarity with Kenya’s labour regulations

  • Deep understanding of the local banking industry and its regulatory environment
