Tatu City is expanding its world-class urban development, and a new opportunity has opened for an experienced Senior Technical Office Architect to join the project’s Technical Office team. Working from the Technical Office, the Senior Architect will play a key role in safeguarding design integrity, ensuring documentation accuracy, and guiding contractors through complex architectural requirements. What the Role Involves
1. Managing Shop Drawings & Submittals
You will take the lead in reviewing all architectural shop drawings, from façade systems and curtain walls to waterproofing, roofing, joinery, and premium interior works.
Your responsibilities include:

Ensuring shop drawings match the approved design intent and required performance standards.

Reviewing material submittals, samples, and mock-ups before installation begins.

Coordinating architectural drawings with structural and MEP teams to flag and resolve potential conflicts.
2. Technical Coordination & Design Assurance
The Senior Architect will act as the main link between the lead architect, consultants, and contractor technical teams. Key duties include:

Managing RFIs and ensuring clear, accurate, and timely communication.

Reviewing method statements and ITPs to confirm compliance with technical requirements.

Protecting the project’s design intent throughout all pre-construction and construction phases.
3. Documentation & Reporting
Precision in documentation is critical. You’ll:

Maintain updated registers of all drawings, RFIs, and specifications.

Ensure the site team always works with the latest approved IFC drawings.

Support the preparation of complete, accurate as-built documentation.
What You Need to Succeed
Technical Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.

10–15 years of experience, with strong emphasis on technical delivery and detailing.

Professional registration (AIA, RIBA, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.

Experience working with international contractors, façade engineers, or large-scale consultancies.

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Strong understanding of international building codes, fire standards, and accessibility guidelines.
