As a growing organization, Penda Health is looking for a Logistics Assistant—a detail-oriented, proactive individual who will help ensure that medical and non-medical supplies flow smoothly across all facilities. Behind every successful clinic is a well-coordinated logistics team, and this role is central to keeping operations running without interruption.
What the Role Involves
This position goes beyond simply moving stock. It plays a vital role in ensuring that every medical center has the tools, equipment, and resources needed to serve patients efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

Warehouse Operations: Receiving, verifying, storing, and dispatching supplies to the right facilities on schedule.

Inventory & Data Accuracy: Keeping clean, precise records of stock movement, delivery notes, and dispatch logs.

Logistics Coordination: Preparing dispatch documentation, working closely with transport teams, and flagging any discrepancies.

Compliance & Safety: Upholding warehouse safety standards and supporting the team during internal audits.

Collaboration: Contributing to a positive, performance-driven culture where success is shared.
Who Thrives in This Role?
Penda Health is looking for someone who is responsible, eager to learn, and passionate about excellent service delivery. You’ll do great in this role if you have:

A diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.

Interest in professional training like CPSP-K or CIPS.

Up to 1 year of hands-on experience through internships or attachments.

Basic knowledge of inventory tools and MS Excel.

Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a commitment to ethical practice.
