The position of Head of Markets Corporate Sales is based in Nairobi and calls for a results-driven leader to spearhead the bank’s Markets Corporate Sales business in Kenya.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing corporate sales strategies that align with the bank’s global markets goals. You’ll oversee client portfolio management, drive corporate sales initiatives, and deliver performance excellence through effective leadership and collaboration across departments.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for financial markets, risk management, and business growth. You’ll also take ownership of account planning, support platforms, client engagement, and ensure compliance with internal and external policies.
Key Responsibilities

Create and execute corporate sales strategies that position the bank for success in the Kenyan market.

Strengthen relationships with key clients and expand the corporate sales wallet.

Work closely with trading teams and other stakeholders to manage risks and pricing efficiency.

Ensure compliance with global operational, risk, and governance frameworks.

Coach, mentor, and develop the corporate sales team to deliver on performance and control objectives.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should demonstrate:

Deep knowledge of financial markets and risk management.

Proven leadership experience in corporate or institutional banking.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Membership with ACI Kenya and understanding of market products such as FX, swaps, and derivatives.
