Jubilee Insurance, one of Kenya’s most reputable insurance providers, is looking for a Medical Claims Assessor to join its Nairobi office. This exciting full-time position is ideal for professionals who excel at evaluating medical claims with precision, fairness, and integrity.
As a Medical Claims Assessor, you’ll review and process medical claims, ensuring they align with company policies, medical coding systems, and industry regulations. You’ll assess documentation such as invoices and medical reports, analyze treatment validity, and communicate with hospitals, policyholders, and internal teams to resolve claim discrepancies.
The ideal candidate will bring:

A Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field.

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in claims assessment or medical insurance.

Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding systems.

Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
This role also emphasizes strict adherence to regulatory standards, including AML, CFT, and Data Protection laws, ensuring that all assessments are conducted ethically and transparently.
