This full-time role, based in Nairobi, presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic academic leader passionate about driving excellence in education, research, and innovation within the fields of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Engineering.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the development and review of academic programs within the department.

Approve student admissions and facilitate smooth onboarding of new students.

Supervise teaching, examinations, and academic quality assurance processes.

Monitor student progress and ensure timely graduation.

Handle people management responsibilities including performance evaluation, discipline, and staff welfare.

Promote research, innovation, and academic collaboration within ICT and Engineering disciplines.

Address student and staff concerns promptly and effectively.
Qualifications & Experience

PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education Technology, or related field from a recognized university.

Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in related areas.

At least three years of university teaching experience and a minimum of one year in a management role.

Demonstrated contribution to academic research, conferences, and publications.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
