The organization is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead its financial strategy, ensuring transparency, accountability, and long-term growth.
The Finance Director will serve as a key member of the leadership team, providing strategic financial guidance aligned with RHNK’s mission to promote reproductive health and rights in Kenya. This position requires a visionary thinker who can blend financial acumen with a passion for social impact.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:

Lead strategic financial planning and guide the organization’s fiscal direction.

Oversee financial reporting, audits, and compliance with donor and regulatory standards.

Drive the budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis processes.

Manage grants and contracts to ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to funding requirements.

Develop and enforce financial policies that promote accountability and operational excellence.

Support the Board of Directors through accurate financial reporting and decision-making tools.

Mentor and build the capacity of finance and administrative teams.
Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (Master’s preferred).

CPA certification and ICPAK membership are mandatory.

At least 10 years of progressive experience in financial management within NGOs or Saccos.

Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, IPSAS, and donor financial standards.

Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, or Navision.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
