Welthungerhilfe (WHH), one of the largest private aid organizations in Germany, is recruiting a Capacity Sharing and Learning Advisor for its Kenya-based program. This position focuses on strengthening learning systems, fostering collaboration, and enhancing project performance through data-driven insights.
The advisor will play a key role in creating a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across multiple country programs.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

Foster a strong learning culture and promote adaptive management within program teams.

Capture and share best practices and lessons learned for both internal and external stakeholders.

Lead the capacity sharing process, including setting up an online learning platform in partnership with a service provider.

Strengthen teams in Outcome Harvesting and align MEAL systems with WHH standards and donor requirements.

Support annual program reviews, planning workshops, and ensure quality donor reporting.

Oversee external evaluations and contribute to budget monitoring and contract management.
Qualifications and Profile

Advanced degree (MA/MSc/MBA) in Social Sciences, Evaluation, or related fields.

5–7 years’ experience in international development or humanitarian projects, preferably in the Global South.

Proven background in capacity development, learning facilitation, and MEAL implementation.

Familiarity with Outcome Harvesting and advocacy interventions.

Excellent communication, cross-cultural collaboration, and project management skills.

Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate technical insights to diverse audiences.
