What the Role Entails
The Head of School (HoS) is the overall leader of the school, reporting directly to the Chief Education Officer and the CEO. This role requires a strategic thinker and a hands-on manager who can ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations while driving long-term school improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- 
Leading senior leadership teams and ensuring high performance across all departments. 
- 
Designing and executing the school’s strategic development and improvement plans. 
- 
Overseeing financial, operational, and HR management to ensure efficiency. 
- 
Maintaining high academic standards and student achievement outcomes. 
- 
Embedding the school’s guiding vision and aligning it with Braeburn’s broader objectives. 
The Ideal Candidate
Applicants should have:
- 
A Bachelor’s degree with a postgraduate qualification in education, leadership, or management. 
- 
10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership in international education. 
- 
Strong strategic planning, analytical, and monitoring skills. 
- 
Proven experience in change management, team development, and resource optimization. 
- 
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
