Role Purpose
The Finance Officer will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with donor requirements, preparing budgets and reports, and maintaining transparency in the use of funds.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and donors.

Oversee organizational and donor budget preparation and monitoring.

Manage cash flow, bank accounts, and reconciliations.

Implement and strengthen internal control systems.

Review expenditure requests to ensure budget compliance.

Support audits by preparing accurate schedules and documentation.

Provide financial analysis to guide strategic decisions.
Who Can Apply?
The ideal candidate should have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

CPA (K) or ACCA finalist certification.
-
At least 3 years’ experience in NGO, donor-funded projects, or auditing.

Strong knowledge of QuickBooks/SAGE and donor compliance.

Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and reporting skills.
