The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) is a global development agency working in Kenya through the Shirika Plan to improve socio-economic conditions for refugees and host communities.
They are recruiting an Operations Manager in Dadaab to oversee program implementation, manage resources, and ensure quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily program operations in Dadaab refugee camps

Coordinate with local authorities, NGOs, and UN agencies

Lead project staff and provide guidance on implementation

Ensure donor reporting and compliance with GIZ standards

Monitor budgets, logistics, and operational efficiency
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related field

5+ years’ experience in program or operations management
-
Background in humanitarian or development projects essential

Strong leadership and reporting skills

Fluency in English required; knowledge of Somali is an advantage
