The Job

We are looking for a graduate trainee to join our Finance Department. This is a one -year program.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the key results areas for this role are;

• Maintenance of proper accounting records for decision making
• Prepare timely and accurate accounting reports.
• Ensure timely delivery of Orders.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of all invoices received into the system.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of all payments
• Ensure timely and accurate Bank reconciliations
• Timely and accurate posting of all revenue sales -Local, direct and auction.
• Writing payment vouchers to match cheques
• Follow up on all local sales payments.
• Maintaining a good Filing system for all invoices and other finance documents.
• Accurate posting of all journals after FM approval
• Stores/Inventory processes oversight
• Ensure accurate suppliers statement reconciliations.
• Supporting the Finance Manager on data analysis and review.
• Any other role assigned to you by the Finance Manager

Qualifications

To qualify for this program.

• The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in commerce or any business-related course
• One must be a fresh graduate from a renowned higher institution of learning; not more than two years after university graduation.
• A CPA Finalist
• High level of integrity and honesty
• Proactive and fast learner
• Good communication skills
• Must be a team player
