Sales Executive – Hospitality Division
Purpose:
Simba Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive with a strong hospitality background to drive revenue growth across its portfolio: Acacia Premier Hotel (Kisumu), Nairobi Street Kitchen (Westlands, Nairobi), and Aspire Centre (Westlands, Nairobi). The Sales Executive at Simba Corporation Limited will be responsible for securing corporate groups, government business, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events), leisure travelers, and brand partnerships, while maintaining strong client relationships and meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across key segments: corporate, government, NGOs, leisure groups, and event organizers
- Generate group bookings, events, and long-term corporate partnerships
- Actively promote all three properties based on client needs and market opportunities
- Prepare and present customized proposals, quotations, and contracts
- Conduct site visits and client presentations for all venues
Account Management
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts through regular follow-up and upselling
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth execution of events and bookings
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to position Simba Hospitality strategically
- Regularly research and report on new business leads and industry developments
Sales Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records in CRM or sales database
- Track progress against sales targets and provide regular updates to management through weekly and monthly reports.
- Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and sales missions on behalf of the brand
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ proven sales experience in the hospitality industry (hotels, venues, events)
- Strong understanding of corporate, government, and leisure travel markets
- Experience selling meetings, conferences, events, and group bookings
- Familiarity with both B2B and B2C hospitality sales strategies
- Degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field

- Ability to manage multiple brands and adapt messaging accordingly
- Strong relationship builder with excellent follow-through
