About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Samosa Cook at Mumbi Wa Samosa – Kahawa Sukari to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing high-quality, delicious samosas — both meat and vegetarian — with consistent taste and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook different types of samosas (e.g., beef, chicken, vegetable).

• Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the cooking area and utensils.

• Maintain consistency in taste, shape, and quality.

• Manage ingredients, including dough, fillings, and seasonings.

• Follow food safety standards and kitchen procedures.

• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify when supplies are low.

Requirements:

• Should be between 22 – 35 yrs of age.
• Be conversant with working from 5 am to 9 am.
• Be familiar with preparing samosas.
• Be residing around Thika Road.
• Demonstrate efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Show adherence to food safety & hygiene standards.
• Clean and organized work habits.
• Punctual, trustworthy, and passionate about cooking.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Bonus Skills (Preferred but not required):

• Experience in preparing other snacks or pastries.

• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and food hygiene certification.
